Hello lovely friends!!! I’m sure you’ve all seen it on the news:
Earthquake, tsunami and nuclear threat. Japan is heart broken, so many things are happening and we are overcome with grief and worry. We are thinking of things we can do to help from here in New York and have decided to organize a charity art show/event at In Rivers Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. It would mean the world to us if you could come. All works will be sold on a first come, first served basis for $20 each and all proceeds will go to charities supporting earthquake victims in Japan!
Art buyers will have 3 choices as to where the proceeds from their purchase(s) will be sent to. The charities we will be supporting are:
American Red Cross - Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami (http://www.redcross.org)
Japan Society - Japan Earthquake Relief Fund (http://www.japansociety.org/earthquake)
Think the Earth - Tohoku Kanto Earthquake Relief Fund (http://www.thinktheearth.net/about/fund.html)
